TESTIMONIALS

We really enjoy the fresh sourdough and olive bread each time we come to the Union Market in Washington DC. We always get some fresh vegetables, an assortment of interesting cheeses, and a condiment or two (don't give us that look... mayo is a good thing!) and we're set for lunch all week!

Great bread and great prices! I've been buying their bread for years and have never been disappointed. I prefer to buy in Union Market because I believe it's fresher, but I have also purchased from Glen's Market in Shaw. Sometimes the selection is slim later in the day on weekends so get there early if you need something specific.

Devotion to Children is “a non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling the needs of children ages birth to six, so that they may become mentally, physically and emotionally healthy members of society. Founded in 1994 in Falls Church, Virginia, DTC has collaborated with many like-minded organizations in the provisions of childcare, health and educational services for needy families and their children.”

The welfare of children is close to our hearts here at Lyon.

For the 5th year running, Lyon Bakery is proud to have taken part in and co-sponsored the annual Mother’s Day 4-Miler.

Our very own Lola Hakimi, daughter of co-owner Alidad, put her running shoes on and took part in the charity run. It was a hot day but worth every single footstep!
