TESTIMONIALS

We really enjoy the fresh sourdough and olive bread each time we come to the Union Market in Washington DC. We always get some fresh vegetables, an assortment of interesting cheeses, and a condiment or two (don't give us that look... mayo is a good thing!) and we're set for lunch all week!

Great bread and great prices! I've been buying their bread for years and have never been disappointed. I prefer to buy in Union Market because I believe it's fresher, but I have also purchased from Glen's Market in Shaw. Sometimes the selection is slim later in the day on weekends so get there early if you need something specific.

Dear Breadsters

We have new branding, a new website and now….a blog!

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed a few typos on the website — please bear with us, they are being fixed right now.

Our bakers, packers, drivers, sales team et al are working hard 364 days of the year, ensuring you get your delicious, freshly baked carbohydrates.

We’re already halfway through 2016, and are well settled into our new home in Hyattsville, Prince George’s County. The PG County folks have warmly welcomed us and we are excited to be here.

We have welcomed new customers, both wholesale and at our retail outlet at Union Market. We love our customers, established and new, and would love to receive your feedback. Please go to our Facebook page and let us know how we’re doing — and don’t forget to tell us what your favorite breads are! We never take you for granted…without you, there’d be no Lyon Bakery.

We are in fine company at Union Market. You’ll find us nestled between Follain and the Mason Dixie Biscuit Company, and opposite Peregrine Espresso. The scent of flowers and herbs, fresh bread and coffee are none too shabby. What are you waiting for? Our Breadmen, Giovanni and Tomas, are waiting to help you!

Coming Up Next Time….

Meet our Breadmen

Stay tuned, friends!
